WINTER 2012 UPDATE

WE ARE SURVIVING THE CRAZY NORTHWEST SNOWY WEATHER!

We have more news that will affect our breeding program

this year.  

Emma had to be spayed because she had cysts on her ovaries. They did exploratory surgery when she came into heat and ovulated for 6 weeks. She is still lovely and we love her to death but she will never get to be a mommy now. I'm sure she doesn't care but it is sad for us. 

Kaeira, on the other hand, is healthy and very fit. She should be coming into heat in February and will be bred to Tucker. This time we are hoping for several healthy, beautiful puppies!!  Hopefully lots of females:)

SAD TIMES AT THE LARSON'S

I am so sorry to convey our sad news. Our beautiful little boy died last Tuesday. Some things are just not meant to be I guess. Kaeira was devasted, as were we. The vet said he had a severe cleft pallet which we couldn't see. He couldn't suck. We will wait until spring and will be breeding both Kaeira and Emma to Tucker. I am sure I will have happier news to announce then. Thanks for being interested in us and our dogs. We love hearing from you and meeting other poodle lovers.

KAEIRA HAS DELIVERED!!

Kaeira delivered a beautiful, red, bouncing baby boy yesterday:) We thought there were two, but nature tricked us once again. Mom is doing great and is such a good mother! This baby is going to be one fat, spoiled youngster for sure:) The 1st picture is 1 minute old. The next 2 are not yet 24 hours old. The milk bar is open for business...I don't think he can believe his good fortune:)

FALL 2011 HAPPY NEWS UPDATE!!

We are delighted to report that Kaeira is indeed pregnant!

She was bred to Tucker in mid August and we didn't think that she was bred. However, after a visit to the vet today, we are happy to announce that she has at least 2 puppies that are due between Oct. 19 - 21st. 
I will keep the website current as we count down to the due date, and of course be immediately posting the pictures of our new arrivals as always! As you can probably tell, we are very excited:)

The summer was wonderful. We bought a boat and had fun taking the poodles boating! See how much fun Sadie is having with Sammi?!:)

EMMA SUCCESSFULLY BRED TO TUCKER!!

Emma surprised us all by coming into heat a month early.
She is successfully being bred to Tucker and should have the most adorable puppies in September. Instead of Christmas puppies, we will have Thanksgiving puppies:)

We are pleased to introduce:

 TUCKER!

We decided it was time to add an exquisite stud dog to our little family:)

Tucker is beautiful and couldn't be more perfectly built.  He stands just 10 inches high and has personality plus!!

He will be the sire of both Kaeira's and Emma's upcoming litters this fall.

 

UPCOMING LITTERS!!

We have no puppies at the present time. All of our puppies from Kaeira's past two litters were placed in wonderful homes by the time they were ten weeks old:)
It was fun this Christmas when most of the families checked in with us and let us know how much they love their puppies and how well they are all doing.  We are so grateful to hear from you about our babies!

Kaeira will be bred this April to a black toy champion and will deliver in June.

Emma will hopefully be coming into heat soon and then we will wait for her second heat to breed her to a red/apricot miniature. She should be getting bred in late summer. 

I will be posting pictures and updates as the girls progress... so keep a watch and call or email with any and all questions. 

We are already keeping a waiting list for the upcoming litters.

Kaeira Update!!

Our black toy female, Kaeira, will be bred in April!
We haven't selected which black male champion we will use yet. When the decision has been made I will post the information.

New Pictures of our Girls from Washington State!

Emma has turned into quite the beauty! Now almost 8 months old, she will hopefully be bred towards the end of next summer. We are in the process of finding just the right red, miniature stud for her. We will keep you posted :)

We are pleased to introduce Emma, the newest member of our family!

WE ARE SUCH LUCKY PUPPIES!!

We are happy to announce that all of us have found our special humans!!
Mini is now living with a wonderful couple in Edmonds, WA and gets to spend her winters in California:)
Ralphy is now living in Yakima with a retired couple and gets to spend his winters in Yuma, Arizona:)
Emma, the red female, is staying put right here with us. As of next year we will have a black litter at this time in the summer from Kaeira, and a red litter around Thanksgiving from Emma.

This little guy is so adorable!! Not only is he beautiful, he has the most lovable, bubbly personality! This picture is just at 10 weeks.

TEACUP TIME!!

Mini is our littlest baby ever! She is definitely a "teacup" as she weighs in at 1.4 lb.

She is fat and healthy and so funny to watch. She can even go up the deck steps now, but it is only by sheer will:) If you are looking for a "pocket puppy" with an incredibly laid back, easy going attitude, she would be perfect for you.

ALMOST 9 WEEKS OLD AND WE'RE READY TO GO!!

Oh my goodness! We will be 9 weeks old this Sunday!!

We are weaned and healthy, chubby, happy puppies!

We are getting our 2nd shots tomorrow, another haircut and a bath:) YEH!! (Not really)

Marcia is going to take new pictures after we are beautiful and will post them for you to see. We hope that we meet our own special humans soon. We are ready to leave Mom now.

Our 1st haircuts were't bad. We didn't even cry:)

These are the quietest, mellow puppies I've ever known. I've groomed poodles for over 40 years and I have never clipped puppies who were so good and quiet for me. Totally unafraid and sweet. They were amazing!
